Welcome! We're so glad you're here.

Joining a new club is easier when you know who to ask. That's us! When you join, the Buddy Program Co-Chairs become your Buddies. Email us anytime at . No question is too small.

We know the Club well, and we love helping new Members find their way. We're happy to:

  • answer your questions, big or small
  • suggest programs and activities that fit what you love to shoot
  • introduce you to other Members who share your interests

Don't be shy about reaching out. We're always glad to hear from you.

In your first year, you can look forward to:

  • a welcome email with everything you need to get started
  • an invitation to New Members' Orientation, held each September and January (recordings are available if you can't attend)
  • a New Members Social, where you'll meet other new Members and some of the friendly people who help run the Club

The best way to feel at home is to jump in.

Monday night meetings, lectures and workshops are a wonderful mix of photography, entertainment and socializing, whether you join us in person or on Zoom. The more you take part, the more we get to know you.

We can't wait to meet you!

Stan Shoolman · Buddy Co-Chair, Member of the Board

If you like to benefit from training, then the Toronto Camera Club offers some interesting opportunities. While there is no set schedule for training, the Club has offered Photoshop, Lightroom, and other types of training to its Members. Training dates can be found in the Club calendar, when they are available.

The Toronto Camera Club offers a number of interesting workshops throughout the year on Thursday evenings. The workshops are led by skilled club members, as well as professionals from outside the club. The workshops are a fun and interactive way to learn new photography skills.

The Toronto Camera Club organizes many outings. Essentially, there are two type of outings - local and trips.

Local Outings are organized once a month, during the regular season. These outings can include trips, for example, to the Toronto Islands, St Lawrence Market or other interesting places. During the outings, Club Members are able to discuss approaches and techniques with each other, and it's an opportunity to try different things. For further information, email

If you are a Member and logged into the website, click here to see the details for our current Local Outings.

Several times per year, the Toronto Camera Club organizes a trip, usually within the Province, and North of the city. Favourite spots include Algonquin Park, Killarney, and Tobermory. There are normally two groups of Club Members who go on these trip - the campers and those who stay in motels or other facilities. For further information, email
