    The Exakta VX1000 represents one of the most significant milestones in photographic history. Manufactured in Germany by Ihagee Dresden, the Exakta was among the pioneers of the 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR), helping establish the camera design that would dominate photography for the next half-century.
    By the late 1950s and early 1960s, the VX1000 had earned a reputation for precision engineering, rugged mechanical construction, and dependable performance. Unlike many cameras of its era, the Exakta featured interchangeable viewfinders, allowing photographers to customize the camera for different styles of shooting. This example is fitted with the desirable metered prism finder.
    Included is the highly regarded Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50mm f/2 lens. Renowned for its exceptional sharpness, beautiful contrast, and smooth image rendering, the Pancolar remains one of the most respected standard lenses produced during the classic film era.
    This camera is in working condition and could certainly be enjoyed by a film enthusiast. Today, however, it is perhaps most appreciated as a collectible piece of photographic history—a beautifully engineered camera that helped shape the evolution of the modern SLR.

    ROLLEIKIN C 120 to 135 converter kit.  These kits were most likely created to allow Rolleiflex TLR's to use Kodachrome 35mm film, which was very popular with amateur photographers and camera club members from the 1950's to the 1990's.  These kits come up from time to time though they are often missing parts and/or are very difficult to install with the various Rollei bodies.  So: buyer beware!
