On August 26, 2026, Thirteen Toronto Camera Club members gathered on Thursday, September 3, 2026 to capture the vibrancy and energy of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). The CNE has been held annually, except during World War II, for over 140 years.
Even though the skies were somewhat overcast, Club members were still able to photograph the vibrant colours of the Midway games and rides. As the skies darkened, the colourful lights became more pronounced. Club members were able to capture the movement of the rides. There was the opportunity to combine long exposure times with flash.
Club members took time away from taking photographs to sample what the Food Building had to offer, sit down and chat amongst themselves during dinner.
It was a great afternoon and evening.
