Frank Pogue Trophy

Frank Pogue joined the club in 1942 and was an active Member serving as director, Member of the Board of Directors, and Program Director. He was Salon Director for 16 years. He donated the trophy to the club in 1952 to encourage and reward those beginners who competed. When he died in 1964, the club had the trophy re-inscribed and named after him. Over the years the trophy description was expanded to include outstanding interest and participation in club activities. Currently, the trophy is awarded for a Beginner, showing the most progress in all forms of photography, during the Club Season.
